He is the son of Daboo Malik and Jyoti Malik. His father Daboo Malik is the brother of Music Composer Anu Malik. Daboo Malik has acted in a film called Jab Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, starring Salman Khan.

Daboo Malik also participated in a controversial reality show Bigg Boss. He was a participant of Bigg Boss 13, where in the initial stages he formed close ties with Asim Riaz and Siddharth Shukla.

He has a younger brother whose name is Amaan Malik. Apparently, he is also a singer in the Hindi Film Industry.
